NTB’s history dates back to the 24th of May 1988 when it was incorporated to the Indian Companies Act. The initial seed was incepted by the inspiring guidelines of my father
(Late) Mr. J.C. Sharma who was, at that time, the Director Tourism, Government of India – Tokyo. This was the beginning to a great journey and since then, we have been able to carry the dignity with pride. It is quality of service and not the quantity that spurs us to give our best. Our guests “Spontaneous and Content Smile” is the topping to our services. Within the following few months of our birth, we were the Indian Associate Office of Apex International Inc. Tokyo –the biggest tour operator in Japan. Today, NTB are a name to reckon within the Japanese tourist segment. We focused on understanding their culture, attitude and aptitude, which was not only a learning process for us but also equipped us to serve them the best. The experience gained over the past 20 years after having worked with Apex International has helped us immensely to look forward to expanding in a big way and the successful result came as the recent addition of our 2 Brand New Departments to look after the “Luxury Movements” from Europe, The U.K and The U.S.A apart from the existing dedicated team to look after our Japanese guests.
Needless to say that, very few countries can offer the incredible variety of India. The country has its own beauty in its historic monuments, vibrant cultures, natural retreats, wildlife and of course, in the smiles of its people. It is a destination with a population of more than one billion, over 400 different tribal communities speaking more than 750 different dialects. From the Tamils of the South to the Tibetan people of Ladakh, this mix of people has come about over thousands of years of invasion, migration and trade.
